Raphael Desbiens

Raphael Desbiens is a master’s student with a strong passion for mechatronics and automation. He possesses a diverse educational background, including a college diploma in engineering physics and a bachelor’s degree in automated manufacturing engineering. Among the numerous branches within the field of robotics, it was mobile robotics that hooked Raphael. He was particularly drawn to the embedded systems of these robots. Raphael Desbiens will apply his research on a project related to localization and trajectory generation for the exploration of caves using micro aerial vehicles equipped with limited sensors.
