Alexandre Lapointe is a master’s student specializing in automated manufacturing engineering, with a deep interest in mobile robotics, computer vision, and artificial intelligence. He holds a college diploma in mechanical engineering and a bachelor’s degree in automated manufacturing engineering. Alexandre is currently advancing his education through a master’s degree, concentrating on a project aimed at improving the integration and functionality of mobile collaborative robots (cobots) within manufacturing assembly lines. His research seeks to develop advanced strategies that enhance the performance of cobots during transitions between navigation and assembly tasks, thereby optimizing their efficiency and reliability in industrial settings.
