Puppeteer, interdisciplinary artist and researcher, Marcelle Hudon is interested in the expressive power of manipulating objects and materials. She put face to face the traditional conventions of puppet theater with those of the visual arts, comics, cinema, movement, poetry and sound creation. She got several research-creation grants from the CALQ and the CAC; Hudon specializes in shadow theater and live video. Her creations have been presented in international festivals of puppet theatre, new theater and interdisciplinary art.
