Danielle Lecourtois

Danielle Lecourtois has been cultivating for over 35 years a unique approach to the body motion. Bachelor in dance, her career will begin as a choreographer-performer in Quebec then on tour in Europe with the duo Mange mon coeur en corps un peu” as part of the Bancs d’Essais Internationaux. Subsequently, she became an advisor and artistic trainer at Cirque du Soleil (20002013) and at the National Circus School (20072013). In theater, she will be called upon as a movement advisor to several directors, allowing her to deepen her analysis of expressive body language, imbued with organicity and dramatic tensions. Pedagogue, she loves to pass on her knowledge to students in theater schools. Her multidisciplinary approach leads her to experiment with movement using constraints related to costume, stage set-up and light.
